Welcome to register for and use emlog official services. Before completing registration, please read and fully understand this Agreement. By checking the consent box and completing registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement.

1. Service Description

1. emlog is open-source software. Users may download, install, use, and self-host it for free in compliance with the applicable open-source license and relevant laws.

2. In addition to the open-source software itself, emlog may also provide paid value-added services such as online upgrades, technical support, themes, templates, plugins, membership benefits, and other related services. Specific service content is subject to the actual page display and delivery.

3. Different services may vary in function scope, environment requirements, authorization method, delivery form, update frequency, and validity period. Please review the relevant product information carefully before purchase.

2. Registration and Account Use

1. You shall register with a true, lawful, valid email address capable of receiving notifications and keep your account credentials properly secured.

2. You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account. Any loss caused by your improper storage, sharing, lending, or disclosure of account information shall be borne by you.

3. As emlog is open-source software, you shall not use the emlog software, your emlog account, or any website, system, or service built with emlog for any unlawful activity, any conduct against public order and good morals, or any conduct that infringes the lawful rights of others, including but not limited to publishing, distributing, or storing illegal content.

3. Disclaimer for Open-Source Software and Value-Added Services

1. The emlog open-source software and related downloadable resources are provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, emlog makes no express or implied warranty regarding stability, continuity, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or complete satisfaction of your customized needs.

2. Due to factors such as server environment, PHP version, third-party components, network conditions, user code modifications, theme or plugin conflicts, misoperations, or force majeure events, issues such as installation failure, upgrade exceptions, feature interruption, data anomalies, or compatibility problems may occur. emlog shall not be liable for indirect losses, expected profit losses, or business interruption losses arising therefrom.

3. You understand and agree that the open-source software may be modified, redeveloped, or combined with third-party resources by users. emlog is not responsible for risks, vulnerabilities, infringements, data loss, or other disputes arising from code, themes, templates, plugins, or services not officially provided, reviewed, released, or directly controlled by emlog.

4. If you use emlog to build or operate any website, system, or platform that publishes, distributes, or stores unlawful content, or is used for any illegal or criminal activity, the operator, administrator, and actual user of that site shall bear all legal responsibility. As the provider of open-source software only, the emlog developers shall not, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for the content, conduct, administrative penalties, civil claims, or criminal liabilities arising from user-operated sites.

5. For paid online upgrade services, themes, templates, or other value-added services, emlog will provide the corresponding content according to the page description. However, unless otherwise required by mandatory law, emlog does not provide additional guarantees for issues caused by your environment, customized modifications, third-party dependency changes, historical version differences, or requests beyond reasonable support scope.

4. User Responsibilities and Risk Assumption

1. You shall independently ensure server security, data backup, upgrade testing, and production change management. Before performing upgrades or installing or replacing themes, templates, or plugins, you are advised to complete backups and verify in a test environment first.

2. You shall bear all consequences arising from failure to back up in time, improper operations, misuse, unauthorized use, circumvention of authorization, malicious attacks, dissemination of unlawful content, or infringement of third-party rights.

3. If your conduct causes emlog or any third party to suffer losses, complaints, claims, or administrative penalties, you shall bear the corresponding responsibility and compensate for the resulting losses.

5. Intellectual Property and Use Boundaries

1. The use, modification, and distribution of the open-source part of emlog shall comply with the applicable open-source license.

2. Unless otherwise provided by law or a written agreement, the intellectual property rights of paid themes, templates, plugins, page assets, documentation content, trademarks, and other value-added service deliverables officially provided by emlog belong to emlog or the relevant rights holders.

3. Without authorization, you shall not engage in unauthorized distribution, resale, cracking, mirrored distribution, or any other conduct that infringes intellectual property rights in relation to paid resources.

6. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination

1. emlog may adjust all or part of its services, pricing methods, or feature forms based on business development, product evolution, technical maintenance, or legal requirements.

2. If you violate laws, abuse services, infringe others' rights, disrupt platform order, or otherwise breach this Agreement, emlog may impose measures such as feature restrictions, service suspension, or account termination as appropriate.

7. Miscellaneous

1. This Agreement is intended to reasonably define the rights and obligations of both parties and reduce unnecessary disputes. It does not affect any statutory consumer rights that apply under law.

2. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

3. If you have any questions about this Agreement or the services, please contact emlog before registration or purchase. Once you complete registration or place an order, you are deemed to have fully understood and accepted the relevant rules.
